Recall for H1 and H2 Units
Dear Customer,
I am writing to inform you of a voluntary safety recall regarding the Hygge Monitor H1 and H2 units purchased between November 2024 and December 2025 from Amazon or Shopify.
Reason for Recall of the Units
We have identified a potential safety issue regarding the enclosure material (PLA plastic) used in these devices. In certain conditions, the heat generated during operation or battery charging can cause the plastic enclosure to soften or deform. Because the device contains a lithium-ion battery, this deformation could lead to a risk of overheating or fire.
While no injuries or property damage have been reported to date, we are taking this proactive step to ensure the safety of our customers and to comply with industry fire-safety standards.
We would like you to return the unit for a full refund.
How to get your refund:
- 1. Keep the device unplugged and in a cool place.
- 2. Locate your order number and device numbers
- 3. Login to iot.hyggeapps.com to receive a link to submit for your refund
- 4. You will receive a refund once the monitor has been collected.
